01 / APPLICATION
Rental for temporary treatment and process trials
Start with the duty: a temporary wastewater stream, a sludge campaign, a process trial or an additional treatment stage. Define what enters the system and what each outlet must achieve. A rental package may combine separation equipment with feed pumping, conditioning, storage and downstream handling, rather than supplying a stand-alone machine.
Share representative analysis, average and peak flow, operating hours and the required start date. Describe the tanks, pumps and treatment stages already on site. This allows Dutch Separation to define the supplied scope, the site-provided equipment and the interfaces between them before mobilisation.
02 / EQUIPMENT
Centrifuge, dual-pod filtration and DutchSORB® options
Discuss decanter centrifuges for suitable solids-rich feeds, dual cartridge filtration for suspended particles, and DutchSORB® adsorption for suitable residual dissolved contaminants. Sludge dewatering may also involve filter press equipment, mixing and polymer dosing. Selection depends on the material response and treatment objective; availability is confirmed for the proposed hire period.
For decommissioning water treatment, review staged filtration and adsorption around the initial contaminated flush and later water volumes. For a solids-rich feed, review the dewatering duty and liquid outlet together. Series stages and parallel trains serve different purposes and require a process and interface review.

Define mobilisation, support and return
Agree delivery and collection, lifting access, footprint, power, water, drainage and connection sizes. Define commissioning, training and operator responsibilities alongside the hire period. The quotation should identify consumables, sample testing, maintenance, waste handling and cleaning responsibilities so the complete rental scope can be compared.

Can I rent a decanter centrifuge for a trial?
Yes, a decanter centrifuge trial can be discussed for a suitable duty and subject to availability. Agree the feed sample, throughput range, conditioning, trial duration and assessment method first. Record solids handling and liquid quality alongside separation performance so the trial informs the complete process design.
Does rental include operation or commissioning?
These services depend on the agreed scope. The quotation should state delivery, commissioning, training, documentation and any operational support explicitly.
